1000 Trees

Our New Year's resolution 2006 is to do our bit for the environment. This spring we intend to meet our responsibility by planting 1,000 trees. Each tree will absorb more than a tonne of CO2 over the course of its lifetime, making an important contribution towards balancing our ecosystem.
As a token of our appreciation and symbol of a more sustainable future.
Responsibility for the environment

Responsibility for the environment
Our ecosystem is in turmoil.
The combination of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and deforestation has triggered a development that is leading to global warming. This will directly affect the quality of life of future generations.
More and more people now want actively to combat this development. Various technologies are already being optimised, and there is a growing realisation that resources must be used in a more envirenmentally aware fashion.
Each one of us can make an immediate contribution towards restoring the balance of our ecosystem. How we behave now will determine how our children live in the future.
1 tree for 1 tonne of CO2

1 tree for 1 tonne of CO2
The tree is a symbol of growth and enduring value. Indeed in many places around the world people symbolically plant a tree once during her life as a tradition.
Today more than ever trees embody the principle of responsibility for the future of our environment.
One reason for this is that each tree, over the course of its lifetime, will absorb more than a tonne of carbon dioxide, making a significant contribution towards improving the balance of our ecosystem.
1'000 trees

1'000 trees
We intend to make our contribution towards taking responsibility for the environment. In the spring of 2007, we shall be planting a total of 1'000 trees.
That's 275 little saplings for the members of our staff, one for each year of the 75-year-history of our company, Präsidial-Anstalt, and a further 650 that we shall be dedicating to our customers and business associates.
Over the course of its lifetime, the small forest which will begin growing from this spring onwards will absorb more than 1'000 tonnes of CO2 for the benefit of the environment we all share.
